My experience started 10 years ago. I've had the privilege to visit Bosnia because of my husband.
I was sceptical before departure because I did not know anything about the country or the people.
My husbands heart lies there and I knew I had to give it a chance. Once we've had arrived there I understood where this love and strong connection came from. And this is why I also fell in love with Bosnia and all the greatness it has to offer.
Every time we go back we feel like we're going home. The hospitality you feel around you is not what we, as western Europeans, are used to.
We saw our children change in such positive way. They appreciated what they had more, got more helpful and even some of their values changed. Of course, kids being kids, that changed very quickly after arriving back home.
Now 10 years later we finally have the chance to move to the country we care for so deeply.
Our goal is to share our vision of Bosnia with others. Hopefully more people will visit the extremely underrated but amazing country Bosnia and Herzegovina.
